We currently have cable all through the house, however not in the basement. Is there something I can buy or possibly do to receive cable downstairs? We recently tried an indoor antenna, however we were unable to receive any channels. We have a cable cord running to our basement, but when we attach it to the television it just shows a blank screen..is there anything we can do? Please help !!!

If you or a tech can trace that coax cable that you tried on the basement TV it should be able to be made working.
There is no other way to get cable without additional wiring.
If you tried an indoor antenna in the basement it's not surprising that it did not work. Higher is better.
I don't understand the problem. Why would the basement TV different than the TV upstairs? none. It should be hooked up exactly like any other. if it's not working perhaps is broken? when was the last time it worked?

You maybe making the assumtion all cable outlets are enabled. They may not. Who knows about how the house's TV outlets are wired?
