I hope this is in the right place. I am going to be in the market for a gaming laptop in the next month or so. My budget will probably be either $1000 or $1500. If possible I would like a few recommendations. I would like a 17" screen unless there is a crazy deal. I would also like to get it from somewhere that offers a accidental damage plan as I have 2 small children in the house haha.

www.xoticpc.com, lots of models there in your price range, although your budget is pretty wide to pick a specific model with, there will be a big performance bump between 1k and 1.5k.
I would like to keep the total price including the accidental damage warranty close to $1500. I play a lot of strategy game like hearts of iron IV which are pretty tough on cpus not just gpu. Is there a pretty decent performance boost with the i7 7700hq?
