Solved! Chrome DNS error

Hi, I upgraded my W7 to W10 on my Dell laptop & installed Google Chrome. Initially it was working fine & then suddenly it stopped working. I uninstalled & installed a 64 bit version as well but still not working.
After launching chrome, once I start to browse, I get this error msg - " DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NO_INTERNET"
Kindly help ???

just to clarify does other browser works?in chrome the option should be under settings-advance setting-network-change proxy setting-

No, havent really checked. Tried many other stuff too but all in vain. If i hv to check the proxy setting, wat shud it be ??? Kindly elaborate...
