I have a motion computing j3500 running win 10 64, was wondering if i could upgrade wlan card so that I could use bluetooth 4.0. Current card only supports bluetooth2.1. Thank you for your consideration.

Some further info on card, it is a half height centrino ultimate 6300n, the last update to the bios was in 2013, this tablet pc came with win 7 and is no longer supported by motion computing, thus my enquiry here.

I know there are more powerful tablet pc computers now, but they all seem to be less fixable, with this one I do not have to unglue a screen to get to the innards. Also, even though heavier this has been able to take some abuse (think young children) and I have yet to break a screen. So I would really like to know if this is possible.

Could this work as a replacement? Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 2x2 Network plus Bluetooth adapter (7260.HMWWB.R)

For anyone reading this thread the intel dual band wireless AC 7260 will work as a replacement for the original card, I can now connect bluetooth 4 devices without problems as well as have increased download speeds. This will leave you with an extra antenna cable as the 6300n had 3 (one for 5000ghz as well as 2400?) and the 7260 has only 2 connections. have not had problems with this yet though. If anyone has info on the antennas would love to know what the white, gray and black wires correspond to!
Thanks, C
