I have an asus x555lf and planning to make an external gpu for it,,and im facing a problem abt the position of the pci-e of this model. Its facing down and theres no opennings for hooking up a cable from outside.

Have anyone successfully install and use an external gpu with exp gdc for asus x555lf?
if yes, pls tell me how to and with what, with pictures would be much appreciated. Thanks before

If someone can plug in usb, they can plug something into a mpcie slot. It requires no more understanding than knowing how to upgrade a gpu on a desktop.

There really is no way to get to it without taking out the mobo. Egpus are not recommended for laptops built like this unless you are fine with having the laptops guts all out while running.

For external gpu notebook need to have thunderbolt interface, and this notebook does not have it. I had seen some homemade mods to connect gpu instead wifi card, but that is quite hard and you need good understanding of computers to see if this is even possible on you notebook.
