So I spilled chocolate milk on my laptop while it was on and cleaned up and flipped in upside down. However I left it on for 10 minutes and restarted it. (Which I hear is no no)

So i took my laptop apart and let everything dry. I put it back together and the keyboard and trackpad does not work. (This is not a big issue because I use USB keyboard and mouse)

When i try to factory reset my laptop it does not work. I accessed BIOS and selected the HDD recovery. (I have a recovery disk) it then asks if I want to perform the recovery and after I hit it it is stuck on the please wait screen. I tried the hard down 0 and rapidly press f12 methods but ultimately my laptop will not factory reset.

Model # is L755-B7240

Please help me,
Thank you

You may need to replace the hard drive, maybe RAM, could be other damage to the motherboard. Can you boot to the BIOS and see if it sees the hard drive? Does it not boot after the spill? If the hard drive was fine, it should boot up with no issues, barring other damage. Which can easily happen.
