Hi!

I have a Lenovo X1 with a TB dock. I connect my laptop in the morning to the dock (TB/USB-C) and it can be woken up by pressing a button on the keyboard (with the lid closed).

When I'm leaving the office, I am unplugging the TB/USB-C cable and then the laptop is not going to sleep.

My brother's Dell XPS 13 is immediately going to sleep under the same circumstances, however we can't find the setting to get my X1 to do the same.

Hope someone can help me.

Best regards, Florian

Have you tried....

1. Go into "Control Panel" and click "Power Options".

2. Next click "Change plan settings" next to the plan you are using and then click "Change advanced power settings".

3. In this new window, scroll through all the options listed under your plan and make sure they are set up correctly. To sleep, hibernate, wake, etc., when you want them to.

4. Once you are done with all the changes click the "Apply" button and then the "OK" button.
