My current laptop is currently too weak to do much of anything. I do in fact have a high performing gaming machine, but I need a laptop for portability. My budget as of now is around $450. I will use this laptop for homework, videos, and some light gaming, like Minecraft. There are no real requests, however I'd rather like to find the answer upon which is a better choice. I have currently found this Laptop on Amazon for pretty solid specs with an incredible price. (Here:https://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-310-A12-9700P-Graphics-80ST001NUS/dp/B01LNOELA6/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1490131366&sr=8-5&keywords=Ideapad%2B310&th=1)

Besides the Lenovo laptop, I am wondering if a laptop with an i7-7200u (or something similar, maybe Skylake) would be better for a game like Minecraft. Although they both have integrated graphics, I am stuck upon choosing the best one for my needs. Please let me know if you recommend something else. I have also looked at the Acer Aspire with an i5 Processor along with a GTX 940MX, but people say the 940mx is noticably slower than a GTX 950m, and that the hard drive is terribly slow. Please answer what you think would be the best choice for what I do (mainly Minecraft, League of Legends, and other light games).

While the 940mx (there is no such thing as a GTX 940mx) is less powerful than the GTX 950m, it is a lot more powerful than the integrated Radeon R5 graphics core in the laptop you linked to. The R5 (Bristol Ridge) is considered to be overall equal to the Intel HD 620 found in Intel 7th generation CPUs which are less powerful than a 920m. Hard drives are slower than SSDs, but you are not going to find a SSD in a $450 laptop.

If you do not mind refurbished laptops, then the following Acer laptops with a Core i5-6200u, 940mx and 1080p screen costs $450.
