So i have a MacBook Pro late 2011 and on the battery icon, there is an X over it and when i click on it, it says no batteries available. Ive looked up fixes and people with the same problem and nothing. Ive opened the bottom and unplugged it and put a multimeter to all of the pins and it either beeps at me or gives me a few numbers. Im thinking its just that the battery is done and i need to get a new one, but i wanted to get a second opinion before i waste money on a 50/50 chance it will or will not work. Please leave your opinions that would be amazing! Thanks! SIDE NOTE: I forgot to mention that a few years back my buddy's kid spilt coffee all over the keyboard so i fixed it my self It worked with the spill but then when i put it back together the battery quit.
