Both tv and home theater have hdmi port with arc. The also by connecting through hdmi cable tv sound is not coming in home theater.

I think you will need a Toslink optical cable to connect the audio out of the TV to the HTS.
Check the TV manual on how to turn on and use the optical output.
If your HTS doesn't have optical in then you can use the headphone/hybrid analog audio output to get sound into the HTS.
You will need to connect the HDMI from the HTS to the TV to get video on the disc player in the HTS.
