I just added LG 65B6P TV to my older Denon AVR-2310CI receiver. The problem I have is that SIMPLINK would not bring the receiver to satellite mode upon turning the system on. Instead it goes in TV mode. As a result I have to manually reassign the mode using receiver's remote every time I turn the system on. There is no problem with linking the receiver to Panasonic TC-L50ET60 Smart TV. Does it mean that the receiver is not compatible with my new LG 65B6P TV?

Solution
There is nothing wrong with the TV or receiver.
SIMPLINK (generically know as CEC) is not reliable especially when the brands are different. In this case it seems to be working as intended since the TV turning on is telling the receiver to go to the TV input. If you have a satellite receiver connected to the Denon and want it to be the default source when you turn on the Tv then go into the receiver input set up menu and reset the connection that brings audio from the sat to the receiver to the TV input (ie optical 1 or HDMI 1 to TV).
You can also just turn the function off in the TV menu.
