someone please help me

Solution

Then it is most likely an internal battery that would need you to open the bottom up to get to it.

When you plug in the charger, do you see any lights on your charger (if it has any), also do you see any lights on your laptop? I'm more than sure you have a dead charger, go grab a universal charger and check it out.

Just to clarify so do you need a battery or a charger? Try plugging in the charger to the laptop with the battery not connected and see if it powers on or you see any lights. If nothing 98% possibility that your charger died. Go to wally world or an electronics store and get a universal charger and see if that fixes your problem. If not you have a hardware issue with your mobo that would need repair.

the lights are on the front of the computer but I think that the computer is completely dead now because it will not come on at all (no lights) if you are sure this is the problem I will go get a charger tomorrow

I had the same issue with an older laptop. It worked and then discharged and I was like but my charger is connected, the computer shut down and I could see the lights on the laptop but after it drained. I am more than sure its your charger mate, go grab a universal, some stores will let you test it in store (Bestbuy at Geeksquad).
