I looked up the system requirements to play ARMA III and it looks like you fit the... minimum. If you say you have 32MB of VRAM, then you'll have a hard time doing well. You'll want at least 532MB.

Intel has a "Playable game list" for your iGPU and ARMA III does not seem to be there.

I would assume there is sound with the game and it would make the gaming experience better if you had headphones. There are few games that require a headset to play. No, do not bother buying a sound card if your sound works already.

No, you will not have a fun time playing ARMA III because your iGPU meets the minimum requirements for 30fps play. You can sure as well play it, but at a cost to graphics and possible experience.

So,what do you recommend me to do to upgrade my laptop to play at max or medium settings of ARMA III?

Considering it's a laptop, there is not much you can do in terms of upgrading for gaming performance. You're stuck with the CPU, and incidentally the iGPU that came with it for all intents and purposes. It's not like you can't download the game and play it, but sources point to it being a low-fps and resolution experience so to speak on your setup.

  • You have the minimum iGPU and VRAM to do considered playable according to the game developer.

So, the gameplay will be really horrible? Or will it be at least good enough to the value I spent on the game?

Basically, yes. The game costs $40 USD on Steam, and it's really your decision whether or not at most 30 fps on low settings in worth it. I used to enjoy games like that because I had nothing else and I would rather play a somewhat playable game than not at all. Maybe you will too, just don't expect to be blown away.
