Hey there I have a msi gt72s dominator pro 6qe got it in June of last year and now it seems as if it will not accept power from the adapter. The adapter is good and if I apply immense pressure it will charge and come on but as soon as I let off it stops? Bad solder? I still have warranty but didn't know if there was something I could possibly do as I also use the pc for work... thanks for your time

If it is still under warranty you shouldn't do anything physically to the device yourself, or risk voiding that warranty. Contact the manufacturer about a repair/replacement.
