Why can't I play games on my Acer Aspire E5-574T-50AF Laptop?

I've got Far Cry 3, but when I try to play it, it usually freezes and then I need to replay the entire mission, this happens after 5-10 mins of playing I think.

I've also got Ark: Survival Evolved on Steam, but when I try to load the game it stays on the 'preparing to launch Ark: Survival Evolved...' window for hours, I actually had it on without anything else running for 3 hours and the game still didn't start.

These are my specs:

Solution
CPU speed drops when temperature rises. Take radiator/fan off take old thermal compound paste off(plenty videos on youtube) and put fresh paste.
Temperatures might be ok in IDLE(no program running) but really bad in stress.
