Hi there TGF users, I'm getting started as a real estate photo/videographer and am in need of a laptop for editing. Just some background, I have less than 6 months experience using a DSLR (same goes for real estate photography), but am learning quickly using my Nikon D3300 with 11-16mm wide-angle lens. Hopefully knowing the equipment I am currently using will help factor in laptop choice. This computer should last no less than two years (regarding future-proofing) and should not only get me through programs such as Photomatix, Photoshop, Lightroom, and Premier Pro smoothly as a beginner, but also as I gain experience.

My budget is between $1,000 - $1,500 (if you can save me money by going under budget, that would also be great!)

Would like to aim for a 15" laptop.

Screen resolution should be no less than 1920x1080.

Portability isn't such a big concern as I'll be using this in an office setting and at home, but I would like it to be as lightweight as possible considering the specs needed. Under 5 lbs can be aimed for.

Battery life should be between 6-7 hours with light to moderate use (web browsing, emails, streaming, etc) and perhaps 4-5 hours, if possible, during editing software usage (Adobe suite).

This won't be seeing any gaming.

Tasks will be Adobe Suite (AE, PS, PP, LR) with 24mb RAW files and 1080p videos (typically less than 5 minutes in length).

Storage can be between 256GB and 512GB SSD as I can invest in external HDD for archiving.

Any stores that accepts Visas!

Two years minimum is the length I'd like to have this laptop.

An optical drive isn't necessary. A plus, but not necessary.

Any reliable brand will work for me.

Besides the typical tech specs needed for editing, probably the biggest requirements is color accuracy, sRGB must be as close to 100% as possible. Refurbished or older year models are welcome!

Thank you all for your time!
