So,I bought a new Cloud II headset today since my old one broke.I used the cables inside and connecting to the PC,when I first heard the audio,it just sounded horribly muffled.I'm not sure if this is a feature or something,but I want to get a clearer sound.My friends also said that my mic audio was horrible as it was muffled too.Can anyone please help me?

The Cloud II headset being a USB driven warrants me to ask if your system's chipset and USB drivers are up to date. What headset were you on prior to the purchase of this(new)Cloud II headset? Speaking of system, can you please pass on your full system's specs inclusive of OS? Have you made sure the 3.5mm connector that goes into the control box/sound card is fully inserted?
