You may have seen this article from notebookcheck from early February 2017:

And you might want to compare that article with this review by laptopmag from late November 2016:
http/www.laptopmag.com/reviews/laptops/dell-xps-13
A 13.3" Dell XPS 13 is difficult to fault and it's likely to meet all your requirements without problems. The top-of-the-range XPS in laptopmag's review features an i7 7500U CPU, Intel's HD 620 IGP and a QHD panel priced at $1,650 (€1,559). The i7 7560U version in notebookcheck's article offers Intel Iris Graphics, priced at $1,671, but it's apparently not really an improvement compared with the HD 620 in terms of 'graphical computations'. The 7560U version is only available with an FHD panel, so all told you don't seem to gain that much in CPU/IGP output and you get a less sophisticated panel.
Battery life was tested by laptopmag at 13 hours for the FHD panel and 9 hours for the QHD panel. The QHD panel also adds a few ounces to the weight, 2.9 lbs or 1,3 kg. This means the i7 7560U XPS will give you 13 hours of battery life but a lesser-quality panel weighing 2.7 lbs or 1.2 kg and virtually no improvement in terms of computational/graphics power for roughly the same money as the i7 7500U version.
I'd say go for the i7 7500U version with the QHD panel: the superior panel will easily be worth 4 hours less of battery life.
As for editing programmes: Check the system requirements listed by the manufacturers. Don't expect to be able to do intensive rendering projects on a dual-core ultrabook.
