Hello, I have a 2010 Honda Accord coupe with 6 speakers and a single sub. I recently had the Pioneer MVH-AV290BT professionally installed, and have realized that the 2 rear speakers next to the sub do not play at all... They worked before I had this stereo installed so I am unsure what is wrong. Any suggestions? The fader is set to the center so everything should be playing. Thanks!

Leave it until Monday.
Wiring it wrong will sound crappy.

I am starting to think I may have found the issue. The stereo has a 4 channel amp, yet I have a 6.1 system. Could this be why the 2 in the back aren't playing?

Take it back to the people you paid money to.
Either they wired it wrong, or they should have known that these parts were not compatible.

I will be doing that when they are open on monday. If my car has 4 front speakers ( 2 FL and 2FR) and 2 back speakers (L and R) and the sub. Could the 2 front left and front right not get wired together into 2 of the channels, then have the 2 rear speakers get wired into the 2 vacant channels? Sorry, I am not exactly experienced with this stuff. Would there be any drawback to wiring it that way?

The head unit you have only offers 4 channel output. You have front L/R and either rear L/R OR sub out, but not both. Your going to need a different head unit or add a 4 channel amp with a built in crossover network to run your rear speakers and a sub at the same time. Only problem with that setup is you cant control the subs and the rear speakers seperatly from the head unit. You will have to adjust them on the amp itself.
