So I just bought a new headset, an expensive one that is, and I feel like the sound is so low. I turn it up to 100% and it's still not loud enough. The sound quality is noticably better than my QPAD qh-90's, but I'm not impressed with the difference considering these headphones costs 3 times more. The QPAD QH90's could also play alot higher than the QH-1339...

I see the specs on the QH-1339 and its Nominal SPL is only 96dB. Isn't that pretty low? I'm probably gonna try to buy a sound card, because I only have the one integrated in my motherboard currently, which is obviously not ideal. I am not quite sure what to go for though, as I do have a high end 2.1 speaker system connected to my PC as well through a receiver. What will give me the best bang for the buck? I'm considering the Soundblaster ZX sound system, as the QH 1339 does not have a volume control panel included..
So far I'm not impressed with the QH-1339, but that might change as soon as I get a soundcard.

I appreciate the help!

Since they come with a 5 year warranty, I'd contact Qpad for information.

Also, can't you use the Iphone volume control that came with your QH-90?
