Hey! Recently, on my Lenovo Y410p laptop, the screen has been having issues. On startup, the screen glows white and nothing else is displayed. I cannot access what is on the screen because the laptop is not recognizing external monitors (I have tried all I have).

This happened after a hinge problem, but this was fixed and did not happen until ~2-3 weeks after the problem. It could be related to it, but to me it seems unlikely. I've tried the basic things- restarting, replugging the screen to the motherboard, removing the battery, and as said trying to connect an external monitor.

I'm unsure of what to do, and would like to get the problem fixed. Thanks!
(This is being posted from a phone, if wondering)

Update: I tried replugging the screen to the motherboard again. It displayed the Lenovo startup screen for about 15 seconds before glowing out again. It then showed a windows screen, but I couldn't read it due to distortion.

Update 2: I believe the wire was damaged from the hinge problem, and something finally gave which caused a distorted display. Replugging the screen once more, it got rid of the white glowing display but remained very distorted. It turns out that windows also broke during the proccess, likely when one of my siblings took over and did their thing to it. Tomorrow I'm going to attempt to fix windows and see if it will display to an external monitor.
