So I was given a Macbook Pro from 2011 as the title states. It turns on fine, however after the Apple logo it goes to gray screen. I was reading that this particular model had a logic board problem and I've taken it to many places in my area who refuse to fix it without an "okay" from Apple as they tell me it was a known issue with this model.
Is it even worth trying to fix. I've been searching ebay for what people are telling me it needs a logic board but don't want to start replacing parts if I can avoid it.
Anyone out there a Mac guy that can maybe point me in the right directgion?
