hello good people on this forum

*I know there are many posts similiar with the topic of this one, but I am totaly lost:)*

What am I looking for?
I am looking for a good headphone, to use with my ps4. The headset is mainly for gaming, but having good sound when listening to music would be nice aswell.
The order is Gaming>Music>Netflix :)
From my understanding open back headsets would be best for hearing footsteps etc when playing video games, so I quess that is needed.
I am currently using astro a40 mixamp pro, and would like to upgrade.
My budget is around 500 dollars, so that should be more than enough to get a good headphone.

The hd-598..?
Yes, I have read good things about this headphone, but I simply wants something better if that is possible :)
Also it would be nice if my astro mixamp pro, would be able to power the headset as it would be a waste to buy another one.

Thank you

Daniel

If money isn't too much of a factor, Bose has a great line of noise-cancellation headphones that are also good for gaming.

From my personal experience, I have a preference for bluetooth headsets (no wires!) and I really like the Logitech H800. The cups are not my absolute favorite, since their made of foam instead of fabric. But they have both USB and bluetooth connection, the sound quality is pretty great, and the mic is nice and clear.

My other suggestion is terms of personal experience would be the Logitech G230, if you want something better for pure gaming. The cups are made of fabric and...

My other suggestion is terms of personal experience would be the Logitech G230, if you want something better for pure gaming. The cups are made of fabric and pretty breathable. The mike has decent sound and is also movable. The downsides for me though is that it's wried (6ft with a sound/mic toggle) and that it has two separate plugs for sound and mic.

Hope that helps!
