My daughter laptop wont turn on. We tried the trick of taking out the battery and putting it in. When we looked at the charge connector it shows the light is on. She did not use her laptop for a while pls help!!!

hang-the-9
Remove the battery, disconnect from power, hold in the power button for about 30 seconds. With no battery, connect the wall power, see if that works. If it does, plug in the battery. If none of that helps you may have a dead motherboard.
