Good day!

My system (imedia S2870) came with windows 8 64x installed,so i upgraded it from windows 8 64x to windows 8.1 64x.The upgrade went well, but after a few days when i switched on the PC i got this error
(Status: 0xc0000428 Windows cannot verify the digital signature of this file).

Now i'm trying to reinstall windows, when the system boots up i can access the bios (Using both keyboards and keyboard ports USB,PS2) and do all necessary configurations, however when i get to the windows setup screen both keyboard ports stop working.

Troubleshooting methods i tried.

1 Clearing CMOS.
2 Motherboard reset.
3 Enabling On Board USB Controller within the BIOS.
4 Swapping Hard disk drivers
5 Cleaning the windows installation disc.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

You can try removing the motherboard battery for 15 minutes before replacing it and see if any changes occur.

Have you tried recreating the bootable USB installer? It's always advised to have only one drive off the first SATA port that is native to the chipset(not an add-on controller) and then try with the installation. Speaking of installation, if you can access BIOS, have you made sure your BIOS is up to date?
