Help choosing a laptop

I need a solid laptop - a lot of the time it is on a desk, but does travel a fair amount of time. I do web design, photo and video editing. I live in Peru and the options are limited and I have got the list down to three - Asus and Toshiba. I have had a Toshiba before which was clunky and the battery life wasn't the best. I am now using an ASUS but something has burnt out on the motherboard (I think) which means Windows was impossible to use. So I have had issues with both. So much appreciated to get some feedback on the following models:
