When I resume it from sleep mode it beeps five times in a row three times and then resumes normally. I have tried looking online for a way to fix this with no luck. The fix I tried was disabling beep when resuming from sleep through BIOS or Think pad power management, problem with that I there is no setting in the bios for this and Think pad power Management is nowhere to be found even after installing/ updating.

Solution
You may want to check the manufacturers website and see if there is an update to the BIOS, or a different version than they installed. The wrong one could give you issues.
So in your BIOS there is no setting for ... "Config", then "Beep and Alarm" and then "Set Power control beep to [Disabled]"?

Did you recently update the BIOS by any chance. Like just before the beeping started? I am asking because if there is an issue with the update, that can cause beeping. Coming out of sleep is less likely than when booting up, but had to ask.

You might also want to check to make sure the motherboard isn't having problems and also that the hard drive isn't. Either can cause beeping.

There is a Config Tab but nowhere in that category is there any thing that corresponds to disable the beep. I recently had it serviced for a screen flickering problem which is fixed finally and I did notice that in the update history of Lenovo companion they did update it. As for the motherboard and HDD there are no problems as I ran some tests not to long ago.
