I wonder kind of adapter to use to charge an ACER laptop that's 19v, 3.42 amps and 65 watts from a 12v battery in a camper?

Thanks... Jeff...

just buy a car dc to ac converter such as the following (I recommend double the size of what you would need) https://www.amazon.com/Bapdas-Power-Inverter-Converter-Ports/dp/B01H2U9DE4/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1488063643&sr=8-2-spons&keywords=car+dc+to+ac+converter&psc=1

even is someone made a dc 12 volt to dc 19 volt adapter to charge a laptop in the end it would be doing the same thing on the inside....12 volt dc input would be turned to ac on the inside then back converted into 19volts dc for the output....

yes you will have to carry around two power adapters instead of one but then again you can use any 120 volt low ampage device from it.

also note if you don't have that plug they do make kinds that you can wire to the battery...
