I have a Dell wireless adapter which I updated the driver. I diagnose eveything on my pc & ran a network diagnostic test. Please has anybody got any ideas. I kept reading here & found a question about wifi not staying on & suggested that they were using a usb adapter so I went & bought a Netgear Wireless adapter & it works! I still don't know why I lost the internet on my Dell XPS but the adapter works! I can't remember where I read that or who answered but thanks a lot!
While other device may still be connected, that doesn't mean that the modem/router isn't the issue. Some devices more easily connect/stay connected.

Try rebooting your modem/router. Then once it is fully up, reboot your computer. It should connect then. If it still won't, try the following.

Try this....

First, make sure your laptop is 'not' connected to the modem/router via an Ethernet cable and follow the steps:

1. Go to "Control Panel".

2. Next go to "Network and Internet" and then "Network and Sharing".

3. Now click on "Manage Wireless Networks".

4. On this screen, remove all wireless connections by "right clicking" on it and select "Remove network" from the drop down menu.

5. After doing this, close the open windows and reboot the computer.

6. Once the computer is fully reloaded, scan for the "Wi-Fi networks".

7. Click on the available network that you want to access and select "connect".

8. It takes a moment, but then you will be asked to give a password for your Wi-Fi connection. Type in the password and click the "connect" button.

It should now be connected.

If this doesn't work, test seeing if your laptop will connect via Ethernet. If so, then your WiFi card may be going. You can either look to replace it/have it replaced, or get an external (plugs in via USB) WiFi card.

I've done that but nothing. My PC says it's connected but when I try to go on internet it states Your connection was interrupted, A Network change was detected, Err Internet Disconnected. I updated the driver & my computer is suppose to automatically connect. I have windows 10 & have ran every test I can think of but it has started stating when I turn on There was a problem starting Logil DA.dll C:\Windows\System 32 I went & bought a Netgear N600 Wifi USB abdapter. Will that help? Everything I check says I am connected, Come to think about it it started giving me trouble when I used my Kindle on it which is Bluetooth.

I tried all the above and all others I could find on Windows 10 with ATT. Still delayed connection and kept crashing after Sleep mode. I finally went through and changed all the sleep options to Never. I usually stay plugged in so it doesn't hurt battery life. I shut down when I am finished with the computer each day. Problem solved. Fast and steady wireless connection. No more DNS , cable unplugged, resolving host etc. messages.
