Solved! Sony Wega XBR to laptop cords

I'm looking for the proprietary Sony cables for a 2004 Wega display (flat panel PDM-5510). These connect the display to the media unit KDE55XBR950, but I'm actually trying to connect somehow to a laptop to show presentations on the display. Is this possible? Will this cord even connect with an adapter to a laptop? They are pin-style, but seem to only be Sony's own. Any idea where to find? Thank you!

The white video output connector on the back of the media box looks like DVI connector. The black connector next to it I can't ID. It's probably to control the display and maybe turn it on when the media box turns on.
If you can get the display to turn on without the media box you can try to use a HDMI to DVI cable or VGA to DVI adapter to connect your laptop. Set that video output as a 2nd display and start with the video resolution low to see if it works. If it's too high you won't get a picture.

Thank you for responding! You're right that the white connector is for the video signals;the black is for audio. The White plug looks like a DVI plug except it has one "bar" connector next to the 24 pins and I have not seen any other DVI plug with this configuration. The black plug is a little bit smaller than the white plug and it has a 26 pin rectangular male socket inside the plug. I've seen photos online that the white and black are two heads coming off a single cord. However, I don't need audio. I just want to show presentations. So do you think it is possible to just plug in to the video DVI on the display and use the HDMI to DVI adapter like you mention? My bug problem is finding this special Sony Exclusive white DVI connector. Is it really still special and impossible to find? I haven't been able to find one on Ebay. I wondered if other early 2000s Sony products besides tvs used it, like cameras. Any add'l direction would be so helpful. We're trying to get this big 55" display to work at our NGO in place of our old projector and screen. Thank you!
