Lenovo laptop won't turn on

Why won't my lenovo laptop turn on? I've just now attempted with it again after months of it never responding to me, even the lights don't react when I've put it to charge. It used to randomly shut down before it started not responding at all. I don't know if it's water damage or not because i've once spilled some on the top of it but it didn't get into any cracks and i immediately wiped it up. I'm not able to open it up to see why either. Is there a way i can ever get it to respond again?

press the power button for 20s or try pressing the onekey button by the power button for 30s if you have the y50 model, i had that problem and it fixed it
