I recently reset my Dell laptop however after doing that my laptop will no longer start up.
I can turn the laptop on fine but then it will only show the Dell sign. Its not frozen aits will switch to a blank screen after a few seconds before repeating the process again.
Is there anything I can do to possibly fix this?

Solution
Note: If this problem started after an update (or system reinstall), please make sure the laptop is not connected to the internet in any way before you use the following instructions.

Try the following...

1. Power off the laptop.
2. Power on the laptop.
3. As soon as you see the rotating loading circle, press and hold the Power Button until the computer shuts off.
4. Repeat this process a few times until you see the "Preparing Automatic Repair" screen.
5. Now you want to let the laptop boot to the "Automatic Repair" screen.
6. Click "Advanced Options" and then select "Troubleshoot".
7. Here you want to select "Refresh your PC", if you do not wish to erase data, or "Reset your PC" to erase all data and restore your system.
8. From here...

8. From here just follow the screen instructions until the recovery is completed.

NOTE: You will need to get into the "Advanced Options" in order to get the "Refresh Option". This choice will keep your data, but any programs installed will be lost.

Do not do a "Reset" as that will wipe all data you have on the laptop.

Ok so I seem to have a similar problem, I was tired of random bloatware and shit hogging my storage and instead of manually deleting every program I thought it best to just reset my laptop and wipe the SSD's clear. However when I tried doing so I got the message saying "there was an error resetting your PC" and when I tried rebooting it suddenly won't turn on anymore... It shows me the Acer logo for a few seconds, doesn't give me any options to enter any bios or anything, not even a loading symbol and when I try to do as you said (though I never get a loading circle) it just won't go into the repair options...

I have no clue why this is happening and any help would be appreciated... the laptop is an Acer V15N Black Edition with an i5 and 960m (don't remember the exact model number)
