You can't repair a laptop by connecting another laptop to it.
You need to post what is actually wrong with your laptop, or be more specific about that "net software problem", as hazzyboy3 suggested.
All you needed to do was post the full problem details and let the forum experts advise you on how to fix it instead of making a wild guess yourself.
