Hi,
I bought a Tv (TCL 50S4800FS) but it doesn't have an optical connection to connect a new Samsung soundbar (HW-K360) I bought. I was told to purchase a Optical converter as the TV has a SPDIF (coax) output connection and the soundbar has an Optical connection.

I live in Australia and wondered what I should be buying as I don't know what I should be getting.

Any help would be great as I'm sure many can figure out I don't have a clue lol.

Thanks heaps
Leela

What you need is a coax digital to optical digital converter.

These only work one way so you have to get the right one. An optical to coax won't work in reverse.
