Hey all,
Christmas of 2016 I got an Acer V 15 Nitro - Black Edition. Recently I wanted to hook it up to my TV via the HDMI port. I connected it up as usual but nothing seemed to work, I've tried pressing Windows+P and changing the options but nothing happened, went to the display options and tried to detect an external display but to no avail. I couldn't find any power option for the HDMI port in the driver properties or BIOS aswell.
I did try changing the resolutions and connecting it to other displays (projectors).
But once I connected the charger to the laptop and then when I connected the HDMI, everything works fine! Once I found this out, I tried changing the battery mode without having the charger connected, but it didn’t work.
Anyone know of a possible fix for this?
(it may seem like a minor issue for some, I would highly appreciate any sort of response regarding the matter)
Thank you in advance.
God bless.

Thank you very much, as soon as i enabled the USB-Charging option it started working without the charger! Pretty weird but at-least it works now!
Thanks kango69

Hey, sorry for the late reply.
Assuming that you have same model of laptop as I have, like kango69's post, all you have to do is to head to over to "Acer Quick Access" and enable "Power-off USB charging".

Hope this helped you as it did for me. Good luck!

God bless.
