Older tv, new sound bar

Is there a converter to hook up an older tv to a newer model sound bar? Back of the tv has a digital coaxial audio cable and the sound bar has an optical connection cable?

Digital coax is a direct cousin of optical, all you need is a Coax to Toslink converter, inexpensive. If your TV has an unused USB jack, choose a converter that comes with a USB power cable, then you can use the TV USB as power negating the need to feed it power from the wall.
