I play games A LOT on my desktop pc at 1080p (i5 2500, r9 390, 8gb ram, etc ...), but now I'm looking to get a laptop so I will be able to play games on the go. Now, I don't plan to play games like witcher 3, gta V, the division, etc ... on the laptop. I want to be able to play all indie games (2D and 3D) and previous generation titles at a good resolution when compared to its screen size.
I don't know if the laptop should be 1080p, because that would mean I have to get a better mobile gpu to keep up with that resolution. 768p looks like it could be enough, but again this is my first time getting a laptop, so I don't have too much info about this.
I don't mind not getting 60fps maxed, but the lowest I can go is medium settings around 50fps.
I don't know which game would be a good benchmark to get an idea how much power I will actually be needing.
