Hey everybody. I'm starting to get into photography, and I've been looking into Canon. I was wondering if it was worth the extra cost from the T5 to get the T6?

Nikon, Canon, Fuji, Pentax, Sony....ALL will take good to excellent pictures.
Within a similar price range, image quality is pretty much the same.

What is the price difference in your market?

With a DSLR, the lenses are where you should be concentrating your budget.

T5
Sporting a higher-resolution 18MP sensor, improved HD video recording capabilities and a more thorough covering of grip material, the Canon T5 is a refreshed and updated entry into the Canon EOS system. Image quality is very good, though its high ISO performance lags behind some of its competitors. Keep in mind the T5's entry-level price and its lack of bells and whistles and top-tier performance aren't all that surprising -- but something to keep in mind, though. All in all, it's a solid camera for the money and a great option if you want to step into the DSLR world.

T6
Canon's most affordable entry-level DSLR, the Rebel T6 shares much with the earlier T5. It differs, though, in providing the wireless connectivity necessary to get your photos onto your phone (and from there, to Facebook) thanks to in-camera Wi-Fi connectivity. It also sports a noticeably better display. But can super-affordable pricing make up for its now rather long-in-the-tooth imaging pipeline? Find out in our in-depth Canon T6 review!
