I am running Windows 10 on a Dell 15R 5521 laptop and recently I am repeatedly having problems connecting to the wifi. When I run a windows diagnostic test it says that the wifi apapter has had to be reset. Sometimes it resets it and the wifi connects but sometimes it can't resolve the issue. I have run all Dell updates and diagnostics and it says all is working and up to date. I have disabled the power saving mode on the adapter in device manager but problem still persists. Help please?

Solution
Try running the laptop on Ethernet and see if that works fine. Then you may want to try a different WiFi connection as well.

If it runs fine on the other WiFi connection, then you need to check yours.

If it doesn't work on any WiFi correctly, but runs fine on the Ethernet connection, your WiFi card may be going.

Should that be the case, first make sure the laptop isn't under warranty any longer. If it is still, contact the manufacturer about a repair or replacement. If it isn't then you will have to replace the card yourself, take it to someone who can, or get yourself an external (connects through your USB) WiFi card.
