Smart View app on Windows 10 does not find TV. Samsung tech support wasn't much help. Uninstalled and reinstalled Smart View file 6 times. Settings on TV shows the laptop as an allowed device on the network, but Smart hub doesn't pick up the laptop under "my contents". As a result, I cannot stream anything from my laptop to the TV.

How is it supposed to work: i.e., you turn on the TV and tell the TV to accept streaming input from the laptop by selecting the laptop on a menu?

The laptop may be an allowed device but it needs to be configured to become part of the process.

The laptop already having the SmartView app with which to transmit the stream to the TV. What is the role of Smart hub.

Not following the process per se but it does seem to be a configuration issue.

Take a closer look at the network and wireless settings on the TV and on the laptop.

E.g., What IP addresses (static/dynamic) and subnet masks are assigned to the laptop and to the TV? Does the TV have a static IP?

Need to ensure that both the TV and laptop have some constant way of identifying...

Need to ensure that both the TV and laptop have some constant way of identifying each other. Seems as if some step is missing.
