Hey guys, I received my Alienware 15 with the GTX 1060 6GB. Before I begin, I am aware that there were other threads similar to this but I have tried the suggestions and still do not have a solution.

I have been looking around and I have noticed how buggy BF1 is in general. All power options are set to high both on windows and on NVIDIA control panel. All the other games that I play are fine but BF1 runs smooth and all of the sudden has huge dips or the frames drop anywhere from 5-10 seconds(On battery and plugged in). The biggest issue I am having is when the game transitions to a new map, the majority of the time the game freezes. I have also noticed that BF1 slows my laptop down. If I hit the windows button and try to go to my desktop, BF1 just breaks and my laptop freezes for a bit. As this is going on, the Disk is at 99% and the RAM % is pretty high, so this might be another issue on its own. I know that is common, as the game is RAM and CPU demanding too but I was not expecting it to be the point where I can not even access the desktop or another appp in the background. I have tried everything and still have not found a good fix to this issue. So I wanted to see what you guys have to say? Thanks for reading.
