dell 7567 vs acer vx15 vs lenovo y520

So far the only one that is available is the Dell 7567. Overall, it is an upgrade from the Dell 7557 (including a new chassis) except in one aspect. The Dell 7567 only has a TN panel screen instead of an IPS panel screen. That means narrower viewing angles. The other laptops have IPS panel screens.

It's hard to judge just based on specs for the other two laptops so you may want to wait for reviews. There are reviews for the Dell 7567 on youtube.

And if it were a decent TN panel, that would be OK. Decent TN means like the 1920x1080 in the old Lenovo IdeaPad Y510p or Dell Studio 1645. But the Inspiron 7567 TN panel is significantly worse, and also represents a deliberate downgrade by Dell from the previous Inspiron 7000 Gaming model.

If you are sensitive to PWM, then you will want to avoid the Acer VX15. I have read that both the VX15 and the refreshed Nitro (not release yet?) use PWM IPS displays. I'd love to hear otherwise as I have only seen this in one review (not many detailed reviews are out yet).
