TV connection has component cable (RGB and Stereo) wiring inside wall that runs to built-in cabinet next to tv. In wall connection does not have HDMI.

Can I use 'HDMI to Component Cable converter' to connect TV ARC to wall sockets and then turnaround and use 'Component Cable to HDMI converter' to connect to HDMI ARC port on Yamaha RX 473 receiver? If I can't I need to drill hole in cabinet to get TV ARC connected to receiver ARC...all I want is 100% of TV audio played through home theater.

Solution
I don't think that would work. There are more wires in the HDMI cable than the 10 in component video plus audio so the audio return would not work with the converters.
I think there is a simpler solution.
Connect the optical audio out of the TV to an optical to coax digital audio converter. Use one of the RCA audio cables to connect it to a coax input on the receiver. Assign that connection to one of the inputs.
Since you now have all your audio coming from the surround system you don't need the audio cables going to the TV right?
If you did then just use a splitter on the one audio cable left to connect to both the left and right audio inputs on the TV. Won't get stereo but it should be OK.
