Looking to spend around $1000-1400 on it want to be able to play any game at high quality while being able to us it for school and everyday stuff.

A separate workstation laptop and gaming PC will get you MUCH better performance for the money while separating the two.
A gaming laptop is a poor value choice, and you're not going to get to high quality with that price range in a laptop.
Not to mention terrible battery life.
