Can you add a Samsung NVMe 960 EVO to this laptop?

When I tried the SSD would not list as a bootable device in the BIOS, I can only assume because the BIOS is AHCI.

Laptop: Asus ROG G751JT-CH71
SSD Trying to install: Samsung 960 EVO 250GB
BIOS version: 211

The drive is listed in Windows Disk Manager. I can format it, and I have cloned the drive, and did a fresh install on the SSD with Windows 10. I am unsure of how to get this drive to boot with Windows 10. I can give more info if needed.

Setup I want to accomplish:
I want to be able to boot off the SSD, and have the 1TB spinner as storage.

Thanks in advanced!

Solution
I found the solution.

There is only one way to get the NVMe SSD drives to work on the laptop:
CAUTION: This may brick your laptop if not done properly!

If you do not want to go that route then the best solution is to get a SSD that is AHCI compliant:
OEM Samsung SM951 AHCI. If the model starts with MZHP its AHCI and will work in the G751. If its MZVP its NVMe and will not work.

I hope this helps everyone that has this Laptop!
