Hi guys I was looking for a college laptop that could also be used for light gaming. I'd prefer it to be light, fast boot, and have good battery life. I only play Overwatch and league, so I don't need a top notch one. I'm aware that gaming obviously affects battery life and smoothness, but any thoughts? I was thinking about a Mac, but then I realized I wanted to pass my current gaming laptop onto my younger sister, so I need one that could do both. My budget is like <800.

Update:
1. What is your budget?
Between $500 and $750.

2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering?
Anything decent for gaming but not too bulky, I'm not too picky.

3. What screen resolution do you want?
Doesn't matter.

4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?
Portable, light weight laptop.

5. How much battery life do you need?
4 or more hours would be preferable, but the more the better.

6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?
League of legends and overwatch, low to medium on both. I don't care really.

7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.)
Basic note taking, browsing, Facebook, the works. Not expecting to program, but might use GIMP or SAI.

8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need?
Nothing too extreme but nothing too low either. Kinda leaning towards SSD though.

9. If you are considering specific sites to buy from, please post their links.
Doesn't matter.

10. How long do you want to keep your laptop?
Hopefully through college (3-4 years)

11. What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ?
Would like at least a DVD drive, but anything else is a bonus.

12. Please tell us about the brands that you prefer to buy from them and the brands that you don't like and explain the reasons.
Doesn't matter as long as the build quality is alright.

13. What country do you live in?
USA

14. Please tell us any additional information if needed.
I really just want something that can last, is lightweight and portable, has decent battery life, and doesn't take like 5 minutes to boot up.

Thanks guys.

This one is pretty good: https://www.amazon.com/Acer-Aspire-E5-575G-53VG-15-6-Inch-Windows/dp/B01DT4A2R4/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1485875835&sr=8-2&keywords=acer+e-15
I've only had it for about 4 months, so can't testify to its longevity. However, I have had other acer laptop that last for over 6 years before finally failing, so it should be a decent choice for light gaming.
Other option would be to buy a used laptop, as it would offer much more performance per dollar to buy one a few years old as opposed to brand new.
