Every time i start the game, after a few seconds there will be an error saying 'The Sims 3 has been blocked from accessing the graphics hardware'. Somehow, today the settings reverted back to how it was before, like when the first time you start the game. Then i changed the settings again, I didn't set everything to the highest. Everything is just enough to have a decent graphics on the game but i did set the 'sim details' to the highest. I closed the game and started it again to play it then the error came back :( I played this game on my mom's laptop before with the same settings and it's just fine. Furthermore, when I first started up this game it said something like the game cannot recognize what graphic card I'm using. My laptop's specifications are as below:

ASUS A556U, OS Win10
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-7200U CPU @ 2.5GHz
Geforce 930MX
4.0 GB RAM

Could this happen because my graphic card can't support the high graphic settings on Sims 3? Other than that, can I play Sims 4 on this laptop?

p/s this is a new laptop, I don't have any other games installed yet so I haven't tried playing other games.

Solution
The graphics card you have should be just fine for that game.

You should make sure that the drivers for your laptop are updated first.

Then you may want to uninstall, reboot and then reinstall the game. Then make sure that all updates are done on the game as well.
