A few months ago I went and bought a Razer Mamba Tournament Edition to replace my old Logitech G300 because the left click was registering 2 clicks instead of one. It was going well until a couple of weeks ago when it started disconnecting and reconnecting randomly and sometimes when I lift the mouse and my friend said the same thing.

I play a lot of CS:GO so this is really frustrating for me. It also happens with other games and on the desktop too. It also happens when I don't move it for a couple of seconds and then I'd try to move it but its frozen for a few seconds then it would actually move the cursor. Sometimes the freeze would last up to 6 seconds. It would also slow down sometimes when I'm moving it. It only happens with the movement of the mouse, not with its buttons.

I am currently using an Asus ROG G551JW laptop with a non-clean upgrade to WIN10 from WIN8.1. The things that I have plugged in the 3 USB ports are the Plantronics C320-M (I use its mic), Razer Deathstalker, and the Razer Mamba Tournament Edition. I run the mouse on 1000HZ but I've tried lowering it and it doesn't work. Sometimes when it doesn't do the disconnect-reconnect thing, it would sometimes disconnect randomly and reconnect with a different sensitivity but there is no constant disconnect-reconnect moments. This does not occur with the other devices plugged into the laptop.

I have already turned off all the power saving options that I've seen around, plugged it into different USB ports, and updated the drivers, but no luck. As I am writing this it has been happening non-stop and the laptop itself is unusable. I am not sure as to what could've caused this in the first place. I take good care of it when I use it.

sounds like it may have a problem, I would return as defective and get another one, I would try with another mouse and maybe remove the razor drivers (you don't really need them for functionality and helps for troubleshooting.

if the "other" mouse plugged in does not show issues then it still can be software or hardware (ie drivers or mouse)
then try removing the razor drivers, and reboot pc, mouse will run fine with basic MS driver.
see if problem continues if it does then its a mouse hardware issue get a replacement
I would try to uninstall USB port and let windows rediscover them to see if that helps;

all settings > (search) device manager > Universal Serial Bus Controllers
all generic USB Root HUB should be right click > uninstall
reboot computer, let windows rediscover your usb ports and see if this helps

ok today it worked well until 20 minutes later when it came back, especially when i lifted it. could it be because of faulty hardware or something else software-related?
