So Like the title said, I have my Laptop its an ASUS K501UX, I opened to clean the keyboard. And as I was reassembling it, while I was putting the battery back I had to put back the metal cover to prevent it from disconnecting, and as I was trying to put it back It slid near the Battery port (Where you plug the battery cable) and it sparked. I Looked if there was a damage and removed the battery Imediately, There was no damage and i managaded to put the metal casing back.

But when I tried to turn the laptop on,
It Wouldn't turn on, The only thing turning on was the LED's

Things ive tried:

First I tried Plugging the charger in, then it had an Orange LED, then I tried to turn it on There was a White LED that Powered on But the screen still doesnt open aswell as the fans, nothing just LED's

Next I Tried it with the battery on
Still the same Issue.

Now its a Green LED whenever I plug in the Charger its a green LED and it Heats up Something thats near the Battery port and it heats up the Heatsinks aswell, So I tried pluggin it out and it was still on, And i tried to Remove the battery and it Finally turned off.

Whenever I trt Powering it, It only lights up the LED and heats up the computer which I dont know if its bad or not, I really need Urgent Help.

Thanks In Advance.

Have you tried to remove the battery and than plug the AC adapter in so the Laptop is running off AC power? I'm not sure if that's what you were referring when you said "First I tried plugging the charger in".

Yes sir I have tried that, I think the problem isnt that it wont turn on. the problem now is that i think it wont boot up. cause i tried to click the power button and it lights up one led. then i tried force shutting it down via pressing the power button a long time and it turned the led off

Nope, Not anything not even the fans. I made sure everything was connected properly, It just that one led that lights up which is the Led that lights when your charging
