When I play games with my laptop plugged in, the games run great. In csgo I get about 120-130 fps, but as soon as I unplug my laptop I only get 20 fps. Other games run smoothly when it's plugged in, but as soon as I unplug it they only get like 9 fps. My power plan for the laptop when it's not plugged in is on high performance and everything is at max. When I look at my performance it says my cpu is running at 3.70 GHz. I don't really understand why I'm getting low fps if everything is at max? Can anyone help? Thanks

When I go to the Nvidia Control Panel, I have the "High Performance NVIDIA Processor" Selected, and Power Management Mode is set to "Prefer Maximum Power." Are there any other settings on the control panel that would effect the fps? Thanks

Regarding power plans no, could try forcing csgo to always use Nvidia - might be using integrated graphics when ac is unplugged but power plans set to high would already do that i thought.
